MaryAnn's Biography
With over twenty years in the green industry, MaryAnn Fink is a garden expert, an exterior designer, a popular speaker, writer, and radio personality, as well as a plant
and landscape consultant. Her niche is designing sustainable gardens with unique and environmentally friendly characteristics. Specializing in habitat landscapes for butterflies and beneficial wildlife, MaryAnn teaches others to use creative techniques for their
residential and commercial projects. Having an advanced knowledge of plants with outstanding qualities and dependable performance, MaryAnn provides valuable resources to her clients and audiences across Missouri. She is an energetic speaker/teacher with an enthusiastic personality and contagious love for gardening and life.
MaryAnn is proud to be an America in Bloom Judge and the Coordinator for the Missouri Landscape and Nursery Association. She is the Midwest Representative for the Landscape Plant Development Center and a Conservation Specialist for The Conservation
Foundation’s Conservation at Home Program. Some of the associations MaryAnn belongs to include: the St. Louis Agribusiness Club, the America Horticulture Society, the National Wildlife Federation and the Greenway Network of St. Louis. She was the founding
ambassador for the Plants of Merit Program through the Missouri Botanical Garden and serves as a board member/liaison to Kansas City’s Powell Gardens and the Missouri Botanical Garden.
She is a featured columnist for the Kansas City Gardener and the Gateway Gardener plus a regular radio guest on the “Inside Out” Show on KTRS in St. Louis and the “Toby Tobin” Show on KMBZ in Kansas City. MaryAnn is a certified arborist, a past Master Gardener and a member of the Garden Writers of America.
